Today was a grocery shopping day. I don't usually care for these types of days, but we need to eat, so it has to get done. With a large family, we spend too much on food, and it becomes disappointing. I also ended up picking up some extra hours at work today, and after 3 days got our older 4 children back with us, from the grandparents home. We met in town at Walmart, did what shopping we had to do there and left. Dad took 4 of the kids home with him and put those groceries away, and I took a daughter with me to work for the 4 hours. She did great with the residents! She will make a lovely nurse someday. :) After work my daughter and I went to HyVee to shop with the rewards sales to up my rewards. (What this is, is when you buy certain things, they will add .01 to .10 on this rewards card and you can save on gas this way. So everytime you get gas, you save.) I made sure that I did this first to up my rewards to a significant amount. I filled my tank up from empty for only $13! I have not seen this in FOREVER! I ended up payin $1.20/gal. This made my shopping day even more exciting than usual.
